I want to ride my bike across the country because it’s easy to wear a yellow LiveStrong bracelet. It’s one thing to give money to a wonderful organization, but I believe it means so much more to give yourself. As I cross the country, each drop of sweat and grimace of pain says that I support you and that I suffer for the hope that you won’t have to anymore. I revel in the chance to experience this amazing country in what I see as the most real way possible: taking our time, meeting its people, and hearing their stories.

I attend Auburn University, and I plan to graduate in the next year and a half with a degree in Wireless Software Engineering.
